All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for an immediate opening with a telecommunications supplier in Kent, WA. The company is moving to Auburn soon, and a candidate who will be able to keep working at their new location is preferred. We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail to route packages to the right destination. Previous forklift experience preferred to assist with loading and unloading trucks. This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity.
Pay for the Warehouse Associate:
- $19 per hour
Job Location:
- Kent, WA (Moving to Auburn soon)
- Bus line accessible
Schedule for the Warehouse Associate:
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Warehouse Associate Duties:
- Load and unload truck shipments
- Check inbound materials in & label materials
- Use a barcode scanner to process and organize materials
- Cut cable and report scrap cable
- Identify shipping method for parcels, and route packages to appropriate shipping areas
- Set pickup appointments
- Obtain signatures for will call orders
Warehouse Associate Qualifications:
- 1+ years of recent warehouse experience preferred
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Forklift experience preferred
- RF Scanner experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Able to read and communicate in English
- Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division)
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
