All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Robot Operator for an immediate opening with a robotics company in Sumner, WA. We’re looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude to assist with robot maintenance and functionality. Prior experience working alongside autonomous robots preferred. This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity with a fast-growing, forward-thinking company. They have a passion for developing technology to improve people’s lives.
Pay for the Robot Operator:
- $23 per hour
Job Location:
- Sumner, WA
- Not bus line accessible
Schedule for the Robot Operator:
- Monday – Friday
- 9am – 5pm

Robot Operator Duties:
- Serve as an active, hands-on member of the robotics team
- Facilitate on-site customer operations and implementation of robotics solutions
- Maintain robot functionality, including the monitoring of battery levels and performing battery swaps
- Execute commands and oversee the precision of robot operations
- Monitor robot movement patterns during operations and ensure safe distances from obstacles are maintained
- Work in close collaboration with others to resolve operational challenges
- Prepare detailed reports for the leadership team
Robot Operator Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of operational environments
- Experience working alongside autonomous mobile robots
- Prior experience as a machinist or forklift operator
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or cross-dock environments
- Exceptional concentration and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Flexible with shift/work hours
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
