All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Production Associate for an immediate opening with a foam production company in Kent, WA. We’re looking for someone with good attention to detail and prior experience setting up and operating machinery to match order specifications. Forklift experience is a plus! This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity.
Pay for the Production Associate:
- $19 – $19.50 per hour
Job Location:
- Kent, WA
- Bus line accessible
Schedule for the Production Associate:
- Monday – Friday
- Multiple shifts available
- 5am – 1:30pm
- 6am – 2:30pm
Production Associate Duties:
- Setup and operate machines, including saws, roll compressors, bun conveyors, and laminators
- Adjust machine settings, such as cut speed and feed variables to match order specifications
- Document Must have the ability to read and write, understand measurements, fractions, and weight scales.
- Maintain documentation
- Recommend inspection and repair for machines
Production Associate Qualifications:
- Able to detect mechanical problems and recommend specific inspection or repair
- Must be able to read & understand blueprints, drawings, work orders, technical specifications
- Must have the ability to read and write in English to maintain documentation and read specs
- Must have basic understanding of math and measurements, including fractions, and weight scales
- Forklift experience is a plus!
- Must be able to work independently, with limited supervision
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
