All StarZ Staffing is hiring an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician for an immediate opening with a food manufacturing company in Stanwood, WA. We’re looking for someone with related experience to install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems. Pay for the Ammonia Refrigeration Technician:
- $45 – $50 per hour

Schedule for the Ammonia Refrigeration Technician:
- Monday – Friday
- Day shift
Ammonia Refrigeration Technician Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including commercial and industrial refrigeration units
- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems and make necessary repairs
- Test and inspect refrigeration systems to ensure they are functioning properly & meet safety standards
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate maintenance & repair records
Ammonia Refrigeration Technician Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Must have strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including components, functions, and maintenance procedures.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- Familiarity with maintenance & repair of HVAC/R systems and air conditioning units
- Must be able to work independently & collaboratively as part of a team to complete projects and meet deadlines
- Must be able to follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with hazardous materials
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
