All StarZ Staffing is hiring an experienced Welder for an immediate opening with a local Aerospace Manufacturer in Arlington, WA. Multiple openings – we’re looking for several individuals with 5+ years of experience for this temp to hire opportunity!
Pay for the Welder:
- $30 to $33 depending on experience
Location:
- Arlington, WA
Schedule for the Welder:
- Monday – Thursday
- Day Shift – 6am to 4:30pm
Welder Duties:
- Weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment
- Lay out, position, align, & fit components together
- Set up equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding
- Bolt, clamp, & tack weld parts to secure in position for welding
- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
- Assemble parts by bolting and riveting
- Train and assist lower level welders
Welder Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in various welding methods
- Able to read and interpret documents, including blueprints
- Must be able to perform basic math, including add, subtract, multiply, & divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, & decimals
- Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Able to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- This job requires specific vision abilities, including close vision and depth perception
