All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Diesel / Trailer Mechanic for an immediate opening with a full-service trucking company in Tukwila, WA. We’re looking for candidates with diesel and or trailer repair experience. We have multiple openings available for both temp to hire & direct hire!
Pay for the Diesel / Trailer Mechanic:
- Up to $32 per hour depending on experience
- Room to grow!
Location:
- Tukwila, WA
- Bus line accessible
Schedule for the Diesel / Trailer Mechanics:
- Monday – Friday
- 8am – 4:30pm
Diesel / Trailer Mechanic Duties:
- Perform mechanic inspections, preventative maintenance services, and DOT inspections on diesel, gas vehicles and trailers
- Repair and maintain vehicles
- Diagnose and repair class 5 through class 8 vehicles
- Diagnose and repair air and hydraulic brake systems, suspension and steering components, starting and charging system components
- Repair and replace drive train components including transmissions, clutches, drivelines and differentials
- Perform welding and fabrication with steel, stainless steel and aluminum
- Perform minor repairs on semi-trailers
Diesel / Trailer Mechanic Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with diesel and/or trailer repair preferred
- Prior commercial/gasoline Mechanic experience is a plus!
- Journeyperson/Journeyman experience is a plus!
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
