All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Room Attendant for an immediate opening at a hotel in Kent, WA, near Green River and Hogan Park. This role focuses on hotel housekeeping and guest room cleaning, including making beds, restocking supplies, and preparing rooms for arriving guests. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with steady hours and a flexible schedule.

What schedule does this role have? Day shift 8am – 5pm, a flexible schedule

What does the Room Attendant do? Clean and prepare guest rooms by making beds, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, and ensuring rooms are ready for incoming guests. Room Attendants also report maintenance issues and work closely with the housekeeping team to meet daily room assignments.

 

Pay for the Room Attendant:

  • $18 – $20 per hour, depending on experience

Job Location:

  • Kent, WA, near Green River and Hogan Park, close access to I-5 and Hwy 167.
  • Bus line accessible: The job site is just a 2-minute walk from the nearest King County Metro stop (Routes 162 & 183)
  • Conveniently located near local dining options along Meeker St., including Starbucks and McDonalds

 

Schedule for the Room Attendant:

  • Flexible schedule (depending on hotel needs)
  • Day shift: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Weekend and/or holiday availability preferred (based on hotel needs)

Room Attendant Duties:

  • Clean and prepare hotel guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Restock linens, towels, toiletries, and in-room supplies
  • Follow daily room assignment sheets and update room status
  • Communicate clearly with the Executive Housekeeper and housekeeping team
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost-and-found items
  • Secure guest belongings left in rooms according to hotel procedures
  • Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts
  • Help maintain a clean, organized housekeeping storage area

 

Room Attendant Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience preferred
  • Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, cleaning supplies)
  • Able to follow instructions and complete daily room assignments
  • Able to communicate with guests and team members in English
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
  • Able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
