All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Robot Operator for a full-time, temp-to-hire opening with a medical facility in Rochester, MN (near the Galleria Mall). We’re looking for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude to maintain and optimize robot functionality. Experience working with autonomous robots is highly preferred. Pay for the Robot Operator:
- $23 per hour
Job Location:
- Rochester, MN, near the Galleria right off Broadway Ave.
- Bus line accessible: The job site is just a 1-minute walk from the nearest Rochester Public Transit stop (Routes 150X, 418 & 550X)
- Conveniently located near Twigs Tavern and Grille, and dining options at the Galleria Mall
Schedule for the Robot Operator:
- Monday – Friday
- 7am – 3:30pm

Robot Operator Duties:
- Serve as an active, hands-on member of the robotics team
- Facilitate on-site customer operations and implementation of robotics solutions
- Maintain robot functionality, including the monitoring of battery levels and performing battery swaps
- Execute commands and oversee the precision of robot operations
- Monitor robot movement patterns during operations and ensure safe distances from obstacles are maintained
- Work in close collaboration with others to resolve operational challenges
- Prepare detailed reports for the leadership team
Robot Operator Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of operational environments
- Experience working alongside autonomous mobile robots
- Prior experience as a machinist or forklift operator
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or cross-dock environments
- Exceptional concentration and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Flexible with shift/work hours
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
