All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Electrician for an immediate opening at the Bangor Naval Base near Bremerton & Silverdale, WA. We’re looking for someone who can maintain and repair electrical equipment for power generation. Contribute to important on-base operations and enjoy a unique work environment. This is a full-time, 9–12-month contract opportunity.
Pay for the Maintenance Electrician:
- $46.78 – $49.11 per hour
Job Location:
- Bangor Naval Base near Bremerton & Silverdale, WA, with easy access to SR 3
- Bus line accessible: Kitsap Transit provides service directly to Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor
- Enjoy on-base convenience with restaurants and a mini-mart available.
Schedule for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Monday – Friday
- Day Shift

Maintenance Electrician Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment for power generation, distribution, and use.
- Service generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, and other electrical devices.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Locate, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical system problems.
- Perform wiring and load calculations to ensure equipment operates safely.
- Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing devices effectively.
- Apply knowledge from formal apprenticeship or equivalent training.
- Evaluate electrical systems to maintain safe, reliable operation.
- Complete related or incidental tasks as needed to support operations.
Maintenance Electrician Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years’ experience in electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints, bend conduit, troubleshoot, and repair motors and controls.
- Experience installing and repairing AC and DC electrical equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of switches, transformers, and transformer hook-ups.
- Comfortable working on electrical equipment at various heights.
- Must obtain and maintain required explosives certifications when assigned to ordnance operations.
- Must have and maintain hand tools required for the trade.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet and maintain company physical and security requirements, including respirator qualification and clearance eligibility when required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a service team environment.
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- S. citizenship required.
