All StarZ Staffing is hiring multiple Diesel Mechanics for an immediate opening with a family-owned truck service company located in the Tukwila, Fife, and DuPont, WA area. Prior diesel and/or trailer repair experience preferred, (but training is available for candidates with at least 1 year heavy duty trailer repair experience). This is a direct hire opportunity w/ room to grow!
Diesel Mechanic Pay:
- Up to $39 per hour (depending on experience)

Location:
- Tukwila, WA (Diesel Mechanic)
- Dupont, WA (Mobile Mechanic)
- Fife, WA (Trailer Mechanic)
Diesel Mechanic Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Flexible shifts available
Diesel Mechanic Duties:
- Repair and maintain class 5-8 trucks
- Perform mechanic inspections, preventative maintenance services, and DOT inspections on diesel, gas vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose & repair air and hydraulic brake systems, suspension and steering components, starting and charging system components
- Repair and replace drive train components including transmissions, clutches, drivelines and differentials
- Perform minor repairs on semi-trailers
- Respond to vehicle breakdowns in the field with company vehicles
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:
- At least 1+ years of heavy duty truck mechanic experience required
- Prior diesel and/or trailer mechanic experience is a plus!
- Valid driver’s license & good driving record required
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Must have good communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
