What does the Automotive Painter Helper do? Assist in preparing vehicles and parts for painting, including masking, taping, surface prep, cleaning, and equipment organization. Support painters to ensure high-quality finishes.
Pay for the Automotive Painter Helper:
- $21 – $24 per hour (depending on experience)
Location:
- Tukwila, WA: Located just off Hwy 99, near the Museum of Flight & Boeing, and under 10 minutes from Southcenter Mall
- Bus line accessible: The Tukwila International Boulevard Station is only a 15-minute bus ride away
Schedule for the Automotive Painter Helper:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Automotive Painter Helper Duties:
- Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including cleaning and sanding
- Apply masking and tape to protect unpainted surfaces
- Remove masking and tape after painting is complete
- Clean, buff, and finish painted parts
- Organize and maintain paint, sprayers, and other equipment
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-stocked
Automotive Painter Helper Qualifications:
- Ability to follow detailed specifications for vehicle prep and masking
- Prior experience with masking, taping, or painting a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain a clean workspace
- Reliable and punctual for full-time hours
