All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist for an immediate opening with a logistics company in the SODO area of Seattle, WA. We’re looking for someone with experience using Sage 100 and knowledge of accounting practices. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Pay for the Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist:
- $23.07 per hour
Job Location:
- Seattle, WA (SODO)
- Bus line accessible
Schedule for the Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist:
- Monday – Friday
- Day shift 8am – 5pm (flexible)
Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist Duties:
- Use SAGE 100 to process vendor invoices
- Process vendor invoices (verify purchase orders, coding & scanning)
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements & follow up on outstanding payments and missing invoices
- Verify approval for accounts receivable invoice payments
- Assist accounts payable clients by phone
- Assist finance staff with special/seasonal projects
- Help prepare & mail monthly reports
- Ensure financial documents are filed and stored properly
- Check and sort mail, and route invoices to AR & checks to AP for deposit
Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Associate degree in a related field
- SAGE 100 experience required
- Must have strong understanding of math (including basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics)
- Understanding of accounting practices and principles
- Must have good customer service skills
- Understanding of general admin tasks (including knowledge of computers, word processing & creating forms, filing, and records retention)
- Must be able to communicate with internal & external customers in a professional manner
