All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Accounting Specialist / Credit Clerk for an immediate opening with a beverage distribution company in Tustin, CA. We’re looking for an experienced Accounting professional to evaluate, setup, and maintain customer accounts. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Pay for the Accounting Specialist / Credit Clerk:
- $27 per hour

Schedule for the Accounting Specialist / Credit Clerk:
- Monday – Friday
- Day Shift
Accounting Specialist / Credit Clerk Duties:
- Setup and maintenance of customer accounts
- Review orders and analyze credit worthiness using analytical reports such as Experian and Dun & Bradstreet
- Process cash applications
- Enter remote deposits and mobile applications
- Process wire and credit/debit card requests
- Process checks using remote scanning
- Perform accounts receivable reconciliation
- Maintain PPI and Red Flag compliance
- Provide high quality customer service for all customers, employees and sales associates
- Enter and maintain customer orders
- Manage inbound/outbound call volume
- Assist team with collections, and customer research
Accounting Specialist / Credit Clerk Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years Accounts Receivable experience
- 3+ years Accounting experience with a working understanding of general ledgers
- Advanced experience in AR reconciliation and cash application preferred
- Must be able to perform basic math, and draw & interpret bar graphs
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
- Oracle, CCAAS, and/or Salesforce experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Image document loading, and retrieval is a plus
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance
